Earl J. Luttner, CLU
CEO and Chairman of the Board, Lifetime Financial Growth (formerly known as Luttner Financial Group) and Mid-Central Agency
Earl Luttner entered the insurance industry in 1967, incorporating Luttner Financial Group, Ltd. (“LFG”) in 1969. In 1974, LFG became a general agency with General American Life Insurance Company and grew to become the number one agency nationally.
In 1991, LFG became a Guardian general agency. Since then it has consistently ranked in the top six agencies nationally. In 1999, LFG’s formalized education and training system became the model for Guardian University. That same year Guardian retained Earl to mentor selected general agents and career development managers.
Known for his vision, Earl championed the integration of LEAP, Advocacy, and The Cassara Client Creator Process into the agency culture, changing and improving not only the sales and service process used to protect clients, but also greatly enhancing agency revenue and retention.
LFG qualified for GAMA International’s Master Agency/ Firm Award nine times. In 2004, the agency was awarded Guardian’s most prestigious award, the President’s Cup.
Earl joined the Guardian with twelve Financial Representatives in 1991 and currently has over 180 FR’s. Due to the strength of the General Agent Contract, Earl recognized the value of building a regional firm. Therefore, Earl has worked diligently toward attracting, motivating and retaining a highly qualified successor management team.
Leadership extends into the community, with his involvement in Boy Scouts of America, the United Way of Allegheny County and the Western Pennsylvania Make-A-Wish Foundation. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Assistance Group, a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting American families who wish to adopt children from Russia and Eastern Europe.
Earl and his wife, Dr. Rosanne Kowalsky have two daughters – Nadia and Katerina. Outside of the office, Earl enjoys the great game of golf, competing with his friends and colleagues, and watching his daughters develop the leadership and technical skills that the game requires.
